  • GPA: 3.903

  • Dean’s List

Special Project, Climate Change

Beloit College Computer Science Department, Beloit, WI

  • Use methods such as Clustering, Connected Component, Threshold, and Segmentation to convert raw text data into image

  • Use OpenCV to locate the key feature areas suspected of "cut-off lows" (COLs) in the image, normalize the text data of all key areas and import them into the model database.

  • Use CNN and RNN to build a model that can identify extreme rainfall climate COLs.

Research Project, Math Colloquium

Beloit College Mathematics Department, Beloit, WI

  • Reviewed and studied the transmission modeling literature for related coronaviruses.

  • Created a mathematical model of the differential equation for COVID-19 by using the Contagious Disease Dynamics Model.

  • Predicted the spread of the virus in the future based on the model.

Research Project, The Maximal Covering Location Problem

MATH 380: Top: Prep for IndustCareerinMath, Beloit College, Beloit, WI

  • Helped the Open Arms Free Health Clinic (OAFC) decide on optimal locations for three mobile health clinics by using the Maximum Covering Location Problem (MCLP) model.

  • By adding a weighted model, different considerations were assigned different weights, and the results were determined by combining various factors.

  • Made the collected raw data into an Excel data table, inserted all the data into Spyder, and established an accurate mathematical model through Python code.
